Easy Roasted Chickpeas with a Touch of Honey

4 Simple Ingredients

2 (15oz) cans chickpeas (garbanzo is ok too)

1/4 tsp of sea salt

1 to 2 tablespoons of honey

1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil


Rinse chickpeas thoroughly and pat dry (if you have time, let them air dry for 30-45 minutes)

Heat over to 395(f) degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment (not wax) paper. Spread the chickpeas on the cookie sheet in one single layer for about 35 minutes. Stir every 10-15 minutes.

Combine the remaining ingredients of salt, honey and olive oil in a bowl and stir.

Toss the roasted chickpeas in the above sauce.

Put back in the oven for 10-15 more minutes.

Turn oven off and leave the oven door slightly ajar and let chickpeas stay in there until cool if you want them crunchier.

Once cool, store in sealed glass container (no need to refrigerate).
